Stress is a Problem!

The scary truth is that stress, anxiety, depression, sleep problems, or "lifestyle illnesses" including high blood pressure and diabetes plague a majority of us, and the tools and skills we need to prevent or fix these problems elude most of us. Life today is way more stressful than it was a generation ago. We’ve become accustomed to living with stress, feeling out of balance, experiencing irritability or fatigue, hanging on to unfinished business from the past, ignoring our own needs, and a feeling in our gut that tells us there’s got to be more to life than this.

If stress is a problem for you, I'm here to help:

I'm here to help you to take control of your life so you can cope, grow and even thrive no matter what life throws at you. The bottom-line is that you can manage stress and time more effectively, prevent or relieve stress-related health problems, maneuver transitions, optimize your energy and personal resources, balance taking care of yourself with caring for others, cultivate your inner wisdom, successfully pursue your personal and professional goals, and approach life with less fear and frustration and more joy and vitality.

A Personalized Approach

The stress mastery solution I have in mind for you begins with an assessment of your strengths, goals and challenges. We use that information to develop a strategic plan to move you past stress and toward a healthier, happier and genuinely rewarding life. Along the way, I'll teach you some simple but important practices to neutralize the impact of stress on your body and mind. Integrating these practices into your life is the foundation of stress mastery.

Depending on your needs and goals, I may use a variety of proven methods to help you take on your challenges - including cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, insight-oriented, body-focused or mindfulness-based approaches, biofeedback or self-regulation training, positive psychology techniques, neuroscience-informed approaches, energy psychology or evidence-based behavioral coaching.

But more important than any technique, our work together will always be about you; who you are, what you want and need, what motivates you - your values, likes, dislikes, resources, and the realities that make you and your life unique. I will be by your side as you build on what already works for you, and strengthen your capacity to thrive in this challenging world.

And I know that you have other responsibilities and commitments. With this in mind, I work with you to create a motivating and manageable solution that won’t overwhelm you or interfere with what’s important and already right in your life.

Depending on your circumstances, services may be covered by your health insurance policy. Contact me at 518-328-4348 to learn more or get started.
